The real teacher !!!

Today we are celebrating teachers day on 5th September on the brth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli radhakrishnan but do you really know who whose struggle is behind the education of women. Let's find out

Most of the people don't know the name of first women teacher of India. I tell you She was Savitribai Phule who struggled hard for women education.

In late 18s she get education by her husband Jyotiba Phule teach her. And after educating herself she also started educating other womens but this was the time where the society practice untouchability and other prejudices with lower caste. Where women is even not allowed to go outside the house. In this critical times without thinking about herself she started educating some women.

When she went to teach women, people used to harass her a lot. Not only harass her, but people also used to throw mud and cow dung on her, for which she used to take two sarees so that when people throw mud on her, then she change her saree and wear second one and start teaching and after teaching when she come she again wears that bad saree and go home.

Savitribai and her husband was facing a lot of problem in his life because they also come from lower caste background in that time the lower caste is not even consider as humans and Jyotiba and Savitribai go against the varna system and educating women. That was not simple to do like this.

The first women school is also opened by Savitribai and Jyotiba Phule in Pune Maharashtra.

If today women are getting education is just because of them if they didn't do struggle for us. no one has courage to do this. But I am sad that instead of worshiping real human beings, we worship an idol, whom we call sarasvati devi as Goddess of education but I think by now you might have understood that the real reality of Vidya.and also

. It’s sad that we do not celebrate Teachers’ Day on 3rd January, the birth anniversary of Savitribai Phule, and instead celebrate it on 5th September.

For today I think its enough I will surely make a detailed podcast later. But till now you should be thankful to real teacher. And start giving respect.
