"Honoring Savitribai: Rescuing History from Stone Idols to Embrace Real Heroes in Education"

My heartly tribute to savitriaai for her exceptional contribution in Education. For me She is real Saraswati. Personally I do not believe in Saraswati made of clay, but in real person who had done very things for the education.

It's so absurd that she didn't get the recognition that she deserves and instead, a stone and clay figure Devi Saraswati is worshiped at her place. Have you had ever read about Saraswati Devi doing work for education ? Had anyone seen her? It's fault on our part that we failed to appreciate the real person we failed to give recognition for their exceptional works instead we used to worship a clay figure statue. Anyway, I continue to make people aware and will put every effort into giving her a deserving place. Especially girls you should always be grateful to her for your education, she is the one who took the very first step to educate you. Read about her and learn

At the beginning of every programme, we light a lamp in front of Devi Saraswati but Savitribai is the one who took you out of the darkness and brought you into the light. In the light of education, liberty, wisdom and did her best to provide education to all girls regardless of their caste, race and religion. She fought orthodoxy every day to provide education to girls, if she hadn't struggled hard that time you would merely have gotten any education now. You know the first step is always very hard to take and she takes the very first step. Opened the first girl's school in Pune in 1848 almost 100 years before independence. Can you imagine how difficult it must have been for them during that time? Both phule couple worked and fought hard to start that school. Sadly we failed to preserve their school and it's now become what we called in hindi खण्डहर

You can watch the condition of school here

It's sad that we didn't able to protect the very important part of our history a very important monument of national importance. I call it monument of national importance because it is the beginning of revolution beginning of stuggle to fight for the education of girls provide them with equal rights and made them independent to stand upon their own legs. Phule's legacy is inspirational for today's women to fight against injustice and start new revolution to take their legacy ahead and increase women's participation everywhere in every field.

It's sad that most people don't know her and her contribution. Students don't know about Savitribai about fatima sheikh. Indeed there is some mentions of them in textbooks of schools but it's very limited. Students read about Gandhi, Nelson mandela and other figures but there is lack of resources and in-depth mention of education struggle in textbooks. If people read about them it can serves as inspiration for students especially for girl child. This struggle story can drive them to become something and serve other people.

As I said earlier we indians still hadn't gave so many reformers, activists and others who had played very important role in making this india a great their deserving place , respect, and recognition. India is great because of great people otherwise we don't have much to show other than being ultra nationalist of ancient texts, great mathematics and claiming our rights over discoveries of so many stuff. Anyways we didn't have to do all that, we are definitely rich with many great people born here. It's only that we didn't recognize them either because it shows our dark part of history or because we love to idolize the stone and clay figures.

This Article may have hurt someone's sentiments because I said some bitter things about devi Saraswati ji but didn't make mistake to show me as anti. It's only that I feel more proud to give appreciation and to worship real people for their great work rather than bowing and worshipping statue of unreal figure. I will be more than happy even if her photo being placed beside devi Sarswati if not totally replaced. If she get deserving place in each and every school of india. We shouldn't forget our history our great people.

We need to bring their legacy ahead and continue to evolve our education for the betterment of people and to provide education to every person, don't forget we still are not performing good in literacy rate. Still only 27% students are going for higher education after class 12th and still we are not able to even accommodate this 27%. I didn't understand the idea of viksit bharat by 2047 without providing youth with good education and skills. We need to achieve more need to do so many things to get most out of our population.

We at individual level can also contribute to education it seems hard but trust me it's not that hard by only donating few books to childrens you can create a change a small change but if these small change is made by so many people it can make a big impact I am planning to do something like this let's see. with this Me Aditya signing off .

Take the legacy of education struggle ahead...
