So I am back home, and since I have come here, my lifestyle has totally changed from waking up early at 7a.m. in the morning to now waking up at 10. From going to bed around 1 to not sleeping before 2. From never watching YouTube shorts to tasting addiction, from never playing games to playing games on my phone, a lot of things have changed.
And you know what? I have excuses/justifications for all these things. I wake up late because I do not have to rush to classes, or to the GYM (as here at home there is no free gym😭) well one can argue that you can wake up and do some exercise at home but tbh I really do not have guts to do that and yeah this is excuse only to not to wake up early and enjoy 2 months of good long sleep. Well, even if it's an excuse, is it fine to chill and tinker with discipline? Well honestly I don't know, there's always a conflict between being disciplined and particular about everything and living an indisciplined befikre life (because you got only one life)
But is it justified to live an unrestricted, unrestrained and indisciplined life, there can be multiple points of view on this discussion but I firmly believe there should be some guiding principles and rules you need to adopt for yourself because it might seem perfectly fine to live unrestrained and indisciplined life but it actually has a great impact on how your life will shape itself. Lifestyle does impact both personal and professional life and also mental and physical health. So living fully indisciplined is not in anyone's benefit. Just like adding a pinch of salt enhances the taste of food, adding a bit of discipline to life can make it even more fulfilling and enhance the taste of life.
I am not here to come to any conclusion or to tell how one should live because that one himself/herself has to decide. This is an open-ended question. I don't have the answer to my question just figuring out, is it fine to live like this in a break or not? I am writing this to know what is your point of view, so after hearing about various viewpoints, I can decide how I am going to spend my next month here. (On a side note ask yourself how you are spending your life)
Well one thing is 💯% true, that it does not take long for discipline to turn into indiscipline.

P.S.: the title applies especially to your good habits, and if that's the case, then it's better to get back on track asap. Reading books daily is good but once you take a day off, you get a pass to take a day off the next day, beware of where to take a break :)
