Evils are not born; they are made
Last few days have been very disappointing and all my optimism turned into pessimism, I always thought of myself to be a man of virtue, I never done bad of anyone, very rarely had I spoke bad for anyone and interrupted most of the time to others who did the same but last few days have really been disappointing in terms of people and other things, life has bring some people's utmost level of insensitivity and inhumanity forward, to me that it made me speak about them to others, and extremely saddened me. Trust me, I've always held back on this, never have I ever gossiped about anyone, even about those about whom people have some bad perception; I gave them the benefit of doubt.
Someone rightly said, "Evils are not born; they are made." When I state this statement does not mean I support evil but I am deeply moved by it, that why this world is behind making more Evils, taking advantages of those who can't stand for themselves or of those who are innocent. It's not like that they can't turn back and slap or behave inappropriately it's just that they don't want to do it. No one should go too low that it crosses all limits of disgrace.
Someone rightly said, "Evils are not born; they are made." Why cannot people be humble and have little humility, I don't understand what it takes to be nice, kind, and humble; how people have become so selfish and arrogant; these are some questions that are going on my head. I am writing this without any light, on a piece of paper which was beside me. In the absence of light as well, I know my ideas will light. (These are the lines I wrote last night while struggling to sleep for more than 1-2 hours despite having a headache)
Building upon it, what I have to say is I literally hate those things like- if you do good, you reap good and whatever moral sh!t that people and parents spread. I'm not saying don't say this to your children, but for your God's sake, don't give them hope that you should do good because then good will happen to you; be nice to all, then everyone will be nice to you; be kind because kindness in return kindness will come back. Ask them to do this only for the sake of doing it and not to expect anything in return, because this hope and optimism strangle the soul of that human when he steps into this cruel world and experience some unwanted experience. S/he will start questioning all those moral lectures and their value.
The problem with the concept of karma is this only. Ache karm ka acha fal nhi hota (good karma doesn't necessarily bear good fruits). There are more example of the people with whom good things are happening even after being cruelest human than those who have done good things. Politicians around the world are the best example. Haan, one might say they might be having some other problems, but that's the same argument: money doesn't matter, but I still want money. Once a person doesn't get good results from good karna, he turns immoral and no longer cares about karma. I've seen how immoral people have become, how even educated people also easily say, "the ends justify the means"; to achieve the end, you can use immoral means as well. And the problem with this is that they think this is not something that is very wrong. But this does not remain restricted to them, as this is one kind of infection only, which others start imitating after realising that they are not getting any result by being genuine and moral.
What's good in being the person to do everything rightly? When you could have got the desired result without using the right means, just in the hope that if you do it the right way you will get the result, is the question one asks. And I don't have any good, solid reason for that.
And as I above said that why from the beginning, never give the moral lecture to anyone for the result. One should be nice, humble and kind just for its sake and not for any results, because when one starts expecting something in return and doesn't get anything in return, instead get the worst, that hurts the most.
I don't know how much all this will make sense, or how well all this is articulated and structured, but I just wrote it in the hope that readers will make sense of it by relating it to their personal experience and observations. It doesn't necessarily need to be about me.
Well I'm here after two days, but due to academic deadline could not able to make it and when I had time to write at that time I was not sure as to what I should write. But anyway, here is this small piece for the month.
Thank you for reading.
