Right now, when I am writing this, I'm in a de facto general coach of an express train. Yaha paav rakhne tak ki jagah nhi hai (There’s not even space to set foot here), and when I'm saying this, I mean it. I was holding my pee for quite a while now, but when I could not hold on anymore, I had to go down, and there I saw people everywhere, no space to put my foot. Somehow I manage, yelling at them, thinking How are you travelling like this? But at the core of me, only I know how I feel while saying this, and I know why they are travelling like this. When you live in a country where poverty is every next door yeah ofcourse unless you live in posh society or colony. How can they travel in a sleeper class which will cost them 350-400. Maybe this is not even their daily earning; they only learned one thing very well, that is to tolerate pain (tear comes out of my eye), they have been trained to tolerate since they were born into this country. They are born to die an undignified death in a stampede, derailment, or floods. Tomorrow is Independence Day. But will we ever get independence from the poverty, inequality, and this pain that these people have been bearing since their birth? Whenever I travel like this, all the optimism inside me dies an excruciating death, but whenever I hear a national anthem, my body comes to life and shivers and gets goosebumps, I'm confused now whether it was pride or fear that someone has slapped me so hard on my face that my whole body shivered. I'm confused. Kis muh se kahu, Happy Independence Day?

So basically, when I am writing this, I just come across a yt shorts video. In that shorts video, a jewellery was stolen from the family of two, a father and her daughter, and as we all know in India, jewellery is the next emergency fund, so the daughter is suffering from some serious illness, and for that they need money. And as the jewellery has been a stolen for which they have filed a FIR. Now the jewellery has been found by the police. But when they go to collect the jewellery, the police stop them, saying that this jewellery will now be submitted to the court. And then thereafter, they have to file a Case to get their property back which is very well very good due process of law, but the shorts unfolds how due process of law becomes the punishment of law.

The most beautiful thing in this world is the feeling you get after helping.

And I'm here again!

So well, although I was planning to write this in November or December itself, but for some reason I didn't. In December, there was an attack on Bondi Beach in Australia during the Jews festival, and Israel made such hue and cry about it, calling it antisemitic; indeed, it was, but what about your Islamophobia? What about you doing indiscriminate killing in Gaza, Yemen, Lebanon, and Iran? Isn't that an ethnic killing? Whatever you do is justified in the name of anything rubbish, and what others do with you is antisemitism, indeed it is. But how hypocritical you can be to do almost the same kind of bloody stuff with others, which has happened to you in Germany. Japan didn't take revenge for the nuclear bomb; rather, it is now a friend of the US, but you didn't satisfy yourself with getting land; now you are thirsty, and you have thirst of... I don't think I need to mention

The University Grants Commission(UGC) recently notified the "University Grants Commission (Promotion of Equity in Higher Education Institutions) Regulations, 2026". Well, facing a lot of backlash from the upper castes. The Supreme Court stayed the regulations, and the matter is now sub judice.

Once again, the tradition of writing on the month-end is broken. It just slipped from my mind as I had been working tirelessly for the past few days. From tests to submission, in fact, today also sorry; it's overnight, so I'm confused about what I should say. It's 1:49 a.m. on 1st October. While I mostly count it as the date of the previous day, as I have not slept and the sun has not risen. So I was so busy with my assignment that I started working on it till 5 pm as soon as I woke up. I got free after 5pm, but somehow I didn't realise it was the month-end. I was under the impression that it's not the month-end. Mahine mein toh 31 din hote haina. Well, anyway, I am under a wrong impression, not just for this, but for many things, like misinterpreting emails from my professor, to everything.

So, in the last three days, I have shared two statuses on my WhatsApp about Fiction, so I thought, why not let's discuss fiction only.

So it's month end, and I'm here with no subject let's see if, during the journey of writing, something comes out. For the last 2-3 months, I have been continuously getting a pop-up when I click on write a new post, and the pop-up is about purchasing a monthly or annual plan. So today I read it exactly what's written there, so I came to know that now they have placed some limits on free posts, and obviously I've exceeded it, so how are you still able to read this? Did I pay? Absolutely not, when you are not earning anything, how can you buy a subscription? So how?

Before I begin, I'm genuinely sorry for this one—day delay to myself and the genuine readers. As I write this, it's already 1:47 AM on the 1st of July. This time, the delay was entirely my fault and a result of my own carelessness. I should’ve started writing in the morning the moment I realised it, but, as usual, I waited for the night... and ended up forgetting. Still, what’s done is done. I can’t rewind the clock and go back in time, but I didn't want June to go entirely without any blog, so here we are.

So I am back home, and since I have come here, my lifestyle has totally changed from waking up early at 7a.m. in the morning to now waking up at 10. From going to bed around 1 to not sleeping before 2. From never watching YouTube shorts to tasting addiction, from never playing games to playing games on my phone, a lot of things have changed.

How does it feel when your exams do not go well? Not a good day, right? You must be aware of this feeling. This is the kind of day I am currently having on this 30th day of April 2025. (sorry for the legal-sounding line) well your exam did not go well is not the main point of sorrow the grief is that you have made the efforts to try to understand and learn the subject that you do not like, after hours of prep you are confident that you are good to go but when you go inside exam hall and start writing the answer something inside your brain starts to happen, you forget the chronology of answer, you are not able to recall things, and many more things. You know the first answer you start to write it and pour your most time on that first answer only and by the time you go to the second answer you are late and by the time you reach the last you realise all the past answers are not complete half baked as you were not able to recall things and the bell rang. Your booklet is gone out of your hand, and you just regret, Just regret.

So this is part II of the last post where I told the story about my reading, and as I said, this month, I will cover writing, I am here with it.

So, as this month has come to an end, and as I promised to write at least one piece each month, here I am. Like always, I struggle with writing. Do not know what should I write about not because I have nothing to say or No thoughts to share, but because I am an inconsistent blogger as my LinkedIn says but definitely not an inconsistent writer, as I write daily without missing a day and also read every day, as a result I find hard to write on blogpost because whatever thoghts I have all flow out of my pen in journal. these two disciplines now have become an integral part of my life as I discussed about discipline in my last post too and I am very proud of this very good habits which I have cultivated over a long period of time. As I write this post, I am reflecting on how these two habits have helped me and why you too should consider it to inculcate and incorporating this in your life and how.

So now, even the first month of the year 2025 is about to come to an end in five days can't believe ki ek mahina ho b gaya. Time flies, and it flies too fast especially if you have a fixed daily schedule like classes in my case
